We design, build, and operate software for a small number of clients at a time. Engagements are long-term and fully managed: we own the architecture, the delivery, and how the system behaves in production.

Craft

We build customer-facing applications, internal operations tooling, and the integrations between them — payments, identity, mapping, and third-party platforms. The work is done by senior engineers who stay with the system for the long haul.

Deploy

We put systems into production on AWS and keep them there: infrastructure, deployment pipelines, database design and migration, observability, and the release process itself. Going live is part of the engagement, not a handoff at the end of it.

Sustain

Once a system is live, we run it. Monitoring and alerting, incident response, capacity and cost management, security patching, and the steady architectural work that keeps a platform healthy rather than merely running. We carry the pager.

Messaging

Several of the systems we operate send transactional and service notifications — booking confirmations, reminders, account and delivery updates — to the customers of the businesses we build for. We implement and operate that messaging as part of the client's product, sent under the client's brand and on the basis of consent the client collects from its own customers.

We do not send marketing messages on our own behalf, and we do not buy, sell, or rent phone numbers. How we handle mobile information is set out in our Privacy Policy, and the terms that apply to those messages are in our Terms.

How we work

Most of our engagements run for years rather than months. We work with founders building a first product, with established businesses replacing systems they have outgrown, and alongside enterprise teams that need a small group to own a piece of the whole.
